At The University Church we see ourselves as part of a network of faith communities and organizations that share a common vision of transformation of the communities in which we live locally, regionally and globally. Our partners and friends in ministry include the following:




Toledo Campus Ministry


Toledo Campus Ministry and its Fellowship organization are a Christian ministry on the campus of The University of Toledo, welcoming students from all backgrounds into an ecumenical community. Our pastor, Julian Davies, serves on the Board of Toledo Campus Ministry and The University Church partners with this ministry in many student-oriented activities.

Solomon's Porch of Northwest Ohio


Solomon's Porch of Northwest Ohio, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of Ohio whose mission is to build and operate Christian coffee houses on or near college campuses.  The directors of Solomon's Porch are committed to building such a coffee house to serve The University of Toledo and its community.  The University Church plans to partner with Solomon's Porch in many of its ministry activities.







Epworth United Methodist Church

Epworth is the mother church to The University Church and assists and supports us in our ministries. Our pastor, Julian Davies, served at Epworth for three years, initially as youth pastor and then as interim pastor. Epworth has opened its doors to us as we establish our new church to serve The University of Toledo and its community.






Central United Methodist Church

Central United Methodist Church serves the area known as the Old West End in Toledo and is a community whose mission is to do justice, practice kindness and walk humbly with God. The University Church and Central United Methodist Church plan to partner in educational, discipleship and mission opportunities.
